While waiting to get a load of mattresses, one day, I noticed, a few doors down the street, a museum of fire trucks.
It was too late in the day to go but I kept it in my mind.
Finally, in late January of 2010 I had a day off in Calgary and I asked my nephew to drive me over to the museum.
It has taken me a while to put this page together because I took so many photos, and being on the road doesn't give me much time for editing.
The hardest part of the job is deciding which pictures not to publish on my web page.
I would like to publish them all but there just isn't room.
The museum, at the time I took these pictures, was nearing the end of its term in this building as plans were well underway to move it to a larger edifice.
