THE `UNOFFICIAL' SEAWALL
Coal Harbour
Canada Place to Chilco Street.
Unofficially, the Seawall extends East from the Sea Plane Terminal, or at least where it was temporarily located in February of `03, where Canada Place joins Waterfront Rd., to the division between Devonian Harbour Park and Stanley Park . Approximately in line with Chilco Street.
This section of Seawall, finished but for the Eastern end, is a ten year project by the real estate division of the C. P. R.
Starting at; Canada Place, in the East, it follows the shore of Coal Harbour, to Devonian Harbour Park, in the West.
Unlike other sections of the seawall, that have naturally flowing curves, this section has many abrupt turns and right angle corners.
The Seaplane base, shared by Harbour Air and, Baxter Aviation, will be moved further West, in years to come, as the land that they now use for the parking of vehicles will become a new convention center.

THE NEW `COAL HARBOUR COMMUNITY CENTRE', WITH A PARK, LAWNS AND TREES, ON THE ROOF. `CARDERO'S' RESTAURANT COAL HARBOUR MARINA LOOKING ACROSS COAL HARBOUR AT `DEAD MAN'S ISLAND'. WESTIN BAY SHORE MARINA AND YACHT CHARTERS. EMPTY CONCRETE PAD, FUTURE HOME OF `THE POINT' AN OVERWATER RESTAURANT. THE SIGN SAYS THEY ARE LOOKING FOR INVESTORS. THUNDERBIRD` MARINA YACHT, SALES AND RENTAL. `CLICKER'S` AND `THE HARBOUR FERRIES MARINA. THE PATH INTO DEVONIAN HARBOUR PARK SPLITS, ONE PATH GONG THROUGH THE CENTER OF THE PARK, THE OTHER FOLLOWING THE EDGE OF THE WATER. NEITHER IS SUITABLE FOR ROLLER BLADES OR SKATEBOARDS. LOOKING ACROSS COAL HARBOUR AT THE DEVONIAN HARBOUR PARK. IT IS HIGH NOON. THE LONG SHADOWS ARE CAUSED BY THE TIME OF YEAR, NOT THE TIME OF DAY.
