I drove an International conventional pulling 53 Ft. reefers to towns in Texas.
Some of the products I hauled; meat, soap, etc. were destined for Texas
but most were bound for Mexico.
Returning to Canada I carried some American products that I picked up in towns in Texas
but most loads were products of Mexico; watermelons, avocados, etc, that I picked up
from customs agents in border towns such as Laredo, and Los Indios, Texas.
These are some of the pictures I took, through the windshield, along the route.
I entered Texas from different points but usually on Hwy. 285 from Colorado. This was also, usually the way I went back, but I liked to try different routes to see different scenery. One of the nicest places I saw, though I never got any pictures, I failed to take pictures of a lot of places, was Pecan Creek on, I believe, Hwy. US 83. just north of Rio Frio.
