This could be a truck and pup as the tractor can carry a load by itself.
However the fifth wheel makes it a tractor trailer.

Notice the low roof on the sleeper, to allow cargo to fit above the tractor.
Also the limited clearance between the ground and the bottom of the trailer, to keep the overall height down.
Speed bumps play havoc with this type of vehicle.

This is a rather small drome but is probably used, note the windows, as an expansion of the sleeper.

Original A Train; the pup was much shorter than the lead and both units would be single axle.

(SUPER) `A' TRAIN

(tractor and two belly dumps.)

The third axle on the lead makes it a SUPER.

(Note the extra long reach or tongue. Very common in the USA.)
